Soooo....its been a good 6 months since I've written on Xanga, but today I had an urge to check it out and see if people still use it, and come to find out there are a few that still do.  I decided I'd write and give an update of my life.

I am currently home for the holidays, working and enjoying my time with the fam.  I absolutely LOVE college.  I have meet so many wonderful people in my short time in FK.  You know when we all graduate college, we all say "we're going to keep in touch" and then we part, all start a new life in a new place and it becomes hard to keep in touch with everyone.  You meet new friends and they become your priority.  Meeting new people is one of the best things about Fort Kent that I love.  Everyone is so friendly and willing to help you in any way possible.  Living in the dorms for the first semester, introduced me to most of my really good friends I have now.  Without these girls and a few guys...I dunno where I would be now in FK.  I meet the most wonderful guy during my short time in FK.  Its like a dream came true.  I went to FK to purse a nursing degree and play soccer. All soccer season everyone had a boyfriend but me, I was lonely at times but was still enjoying myself.  Just at the point where I was about ready go crazy with stress and lonelness, I meet Alex.  Since that day, I've been the happiest I've ever been.  He is by far the best thing to ever happen to me, hands down.  He treats me like I've never been treated.  Even though we only get to see each other on the weekends, it makes us appreciate the time we do spend together, even though its little.  I honestly can say I have never loved someone the way I love him and I can see myself with him for a long time!!! In the next week I will be moving into my new apartment.  I am so excited for this.  Its all I can think and talk about!! I got lots of furnishings for Christmas and I am so excited to decorate and move in!!!

Well now that your semi-updated on my new and improved life! I hope everyone had a very merry christmas and hopefully Santa was good to you all!!!

Merry Christmas and a Happy and Safe New Year!!

Its 11 on a school night.  Here I sit, listening to random music that is playing on my windows media player, search the wonderul world wide web for a few dresses to wear for senior week activites such as class night, class banquet and of course graduation.  As I sit here listening to music, each song that has come on has brought back many memories of the past.

I can't even believe in less then 30 days we will be graduating and leaving Caribou High School forever. Leaving many memories of both good times and bad behind.  Some of us leaving Caribou forever and probably not returning anytime soon, while others are sticking around.  All in all growing up in Caribou has had its ups and downs, but we always seem to make the most out of it.  We have been very fortune to grow up in a town with small hometown feeling.  We were safe to walk to school, play at the park without our parents right besides us and of course playing manhunt on those many weekends in the neighboorhood.  Yea, now we complain that there isn't anything to do, but when we were younger we always had things to do.  We spent our summers outside as long as our parents would allow us.  As time grew on and we grew up, we finally became high schoolers.  Freshman year was definately one to remember. All the union kids joining us. The seniors were awesome to us.  Hanging out with them, we thought u were so cool. hahaha....many memories were made from freshman year to now, senior year.  All the winter carnivals together, the many dances, the parties...Jr. sem, that is one we will never forget, the bomb threat phase last year, all the sporting events whether the teams were winning or losing, the band playing at the basketball games, and most of all the friendships we have gained in the past four years.

I'm looking forward to senior week more then anything.  Its going to be sad and a blast all in one!! I just hope that everyone is safe and has a good time.  Don't let things hold u back on senior week.   Go out, have a good time with ur friends, it will be the last time we get together as a class until reunion time!!! So lets make the best of it and be safe!!!!
